Something was clearly troubling Andy Murray’s mother Judy Saturday – despite his 6-2, 6-3, 6-4 demolition of Viktor Troicki in the third round at Wimbledon.
\nPictures showed her turning round and angrily pointing her finger in the direction of Serbian Troicki’s coaching staff sitting in the crowd behind her.
\nShe left before the end of the match. But Judy, who was there with Andy’s girlfriend Kim Sears, denied having an argument.
\nShe added: ‘It’s ridiculous to suggest I had a row with anyone. I spoke to them (Troicki’s team) before the match and did not speak to them again.
\n‘I left before the end of the match to come and watch my other son Jamie’s doubles. If the picture shows me pointing, it must have been at our lot at the back.’ Andy, 22, said: ‘I would have thought if my mum left she went to watch my brother.’
\nOlder brother Jamie won his mixed doubles match. Judy Murray hit the headlines earlier this week after it was revealed she is quitting the Lawn Tennis Association – to start her own tennis talent academy.
