{"id":5131,"date":"2008-11-02T01:16:56","date_gmt":"2008-11-02T01:16:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2008\/11\/02\/clcsu-freshers-cum-parting-social-held\/"},"modified":"2008-11-02T01:16:56","modified_gmt":"2008-11-02T01:16:56","slug":"clcsu-freshers-cum-parting-social-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2008\/11\/02\/clcsu-freshers-cum-parting-social-held\/","title":{"rendered":"CLCSU freshers-cum-parting social held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/CLQTRJZNETTKPMHUTSBQ.jpg>City Law College Students&#8217; Union (CLCSU), Dimapur Saturday conducted annual freshers&#8217; cum parting social at Hotel Saramati with financial investment consultant, Nagaland Isaac Zhimomi as chief guest.<br \/>\nAltogether fifty freshers and ten outgoing students were felicitated during the programme.<br \/>\nDelivering speech at the occasion, Isaac Zhimomi said to receive education there were certain elements that needed to be incorporated including teachers, infrastructure and an environment to expedite knowledge.<br \/>\nUrging the law students of CLC Zhimomi said in order to develop knowledge one need to assimilate the facts and apply it into practice. Advocating that there was no place for lethargic person in the competitive world, he said it was only for the best of best. &#8220;Only hard work and fear of God would bring success,&#8221; he added.<br \/>\nHe also encouraged students not to get frustrated but keep trying, adding there would be a success ultimately.<br \/>\nZhimomi further went on and said that there was only one investment that students need to make; to invest hard work into studies while discover the hidden treasures of life. He reminded students that &#8220;time only lapses&#8221; adding &#8220;today&#8221; was the moment to strive.<br \/>\nEarlier, addressing the function college principal, P Leonard Aier advised the outgoing students to practice what they have learned and put it for the service of humanity while speak out for the needy.<br \/>\nAlso cautioning the students &#8211; who would put into practice their learning &#8211; Aier said &#8220;give is act of God but taking is an act of animal.&#8221; He maintained that legal profession was a noble profession where one gives service to the society and not otherwise. In this regard he appealed the students to look up to life as it was no matter what difficulty comes in life.
