{"id":51782,"date":"2009-07-22T00:52:17","date_gmt":"2009-07-22T00:52:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2009\/07\/22\/ensf-2nd-general-session-begins-in-mon\/"},"modified":"2009-07-22T00:52:17","modified_gmt":"2009-07-22T00:52:17","slug":"ensf-2nd-general-session-begins-in-mon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2009\/07\/22\/ensf-2nd-general-session-begins-in-mon\/","title":{"rendered":"ENSF 2nd general session begins in Mon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>The 2nd general session of Eastern Nagaland Students\u2019 Federation, comprising six tribes Chang, Konyak, Khiamniungan, Phom, Sangtam and Yimchunger started with an introduction session on July 20.<br \/>\nWelcoming the federating units of the ENSF to the \u2018Land of the Angh\u2019, Khungchah Konyak, president, Konyak Students\u2019 Union called upon the gathering to move forward and endure new heights adding \u201cour march of a just prosperous and peaceful society should start in right earnest from this very occasion.<br \/>\nKhoiwang, president Konyak union advised students to move forward in every aspect and not to fall into anti-social elements. In his presidential speech, Y. P Chillio said the districts of Tuensang, Mon, Kiphire and Longleng shared a unique common history, which came from the fact that before the merger of Tuensang with Naga hills, people of the four districts were called \u201cfree people\u201d.<br \/>\nDuring the Tuensang Frontier Division (TFD) days under NEFA, he said the main focus was on development of human resources and as such, the entire system of education, economy, and administration were different from the present scenario.<br \/>\nHowever, he felt that with the merger, a feeling of alienation arose due to errors committed during and after the formation of Naga Hills Tuensang Area (NHTA).<br \/>\nHe also stressed on the feeling of mutual trust and understanding among all the Naga tribes spread across the four corners of the state, so as to create a strong and united feeling.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2nd general session of Eastern Nagaland Students\u2019 Federation, comprising six tribes Chang, Konyak, Khiamniungan, Phom, Sangtam and Yimchunger started with an introduction session on July 20.
