\nDIMAPUR: T. Inali, wife of late T. Tolhopu Holo passed away on February 9 at Zion Hospital after a prolonged illness. The funeral service would be held on February 10 at 12 noon at Hovishe village. Meanwhile, Editor and staff of Nagaland Post has condoled the demise of T. Inali, paternal grandmother of Tokili Holo on February 9. The Editor and staff while conveying its deepest sympathy also prayed God would grant solace and strength to the bereaved family members.
\nJeff Cardwell likely to meet CM
\nKOHIMA: Jeff Cardwell, a businessman and Councilor, District 23, City of Indianapolis, Marion County and Honorary Consulate to the Republic of El Salvador, Central America and his colleague, Dr. Mike Elmore MD (gastro specialist) are three day mission trip to Kohima. Jeff Cardwell who is likely to meet state chief minister, Neiphiu Rio before he leaves Nagaland, said it was one of his most memorable trips and was overwhelmed by the culture and hospitality of the people of Nagaland. \nACCC Pughoboto clarifies
\nDIMAPUR: ACCC Pughoboto with regard to a news item which appeared on February 5 has inquired the fair price shop license holders of Pughoboto as to what it meant by \u201creceiving food grains regularly under various schemes from the department\u201d. While demanding the license holders to produce items received annually for Pughoboto sub-division \u201ccategorically\u201d, also clarified that there were 22 villages under Pughoboto sub-division, and not 21 as stated by them earlier.
\nNLVC ban fishing, hunting
\nDIMAPUR: N. Longchum Village Council (NLVC) under Wokha district has banned hunting, fishing and use of chemicals within its jurisdiction w.e.f February 10 to October 31. The village council also cautioned defaulters that \u201cguns\u201d and \u201cother materials\u201d would be seized along with a fine of Rs. 5, 000.

\nDIMAPUR: Intensified pulse Polio Immunization was conducted in Zunheboto District on February 7 where a total of 200 booths were set up to immunize a targeted population of 21,592 children from the age group of 0-5 years. About 550 health workers and volunteers were involved in manning the booths followed by house to house Immunization on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
