\nHe said there would be many more jubilee celebrations of different denominations and different categories coming ahead and that he considered it a blessing and appealed everyone to seek God\u2019s blessing to achieve dreams.
\nPatton also asserted politics as missionary work if handled well and performed honestly for the uplift and development of the society and called people to forgive and forget all short comings and misadventures be it politically or socially and move ahead with one voice towards betterment.
\nCongratulating the group and individual participants of the programme, Patton also encouraged them to live accordingly. He also urged upon the youngsters particularly those indulging in drugs abuse and alcoholism to give up the habit in the name of the golden jubilee celebration.
\nPatton was accompanied by Dr. M. Kithan, CMO, Wokha, Er. Sanchio Kithan and their lady wives, senior leaders and vice president Kyong (Lotha) Hoho, K.S. Ngullie and a host of his supporters.
\nEarlier on December 25, Y.Patton attended a joint Christmas Celebration of Old Riphyim Baptist Church and Old Riphyim Catholic Church where thousands of village people from different towns and cities thronged in to celebrate the joint Christmas for the first time in the village. The joint Christmas celebration was held as a preparation for the forthcoming jubilee celebrations in 2011.
\nDuring the celebration the villagers reconciled among themselves to forgive and forget the past mistakes and shortcomings.
