Resplendent in traditional attires, over 200 people attended the festival. Some prominent political leaders of the Lotha Community who attended the feastival included A Y Odyuo (president NPF Wokha Division), Ekyimo Lotha (ex-Candidate) and Mmhonlumo Kikon (Secretary, NCP, Northeast Coordination Committee), besides a host of dignitaries.<br \/>\nIn his short speech, Y Ekyimo Lotha challenged the gathering to respect and preserve the positive aspect of the Lotha Naga Culture, and urged upon the Lotha Hoho to request the State Government to grant two-day holiday for government servants belonging to the Lotha tribe, given the nature of the Tokhu Emong celebrations.<br \/>\nThe celebration also witnessed special number by Y Nchumbemo Patton and exhortation by Dr. T Odyuo (Retired Director of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry).<br \/>\nThe celebrations ended with a Tokhu feast.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lotha community residing in and around Bayav\u00fc Hill Colony, Kohima celebrated Tokhu Emong at the new High Court complex site.
