{"id":5722,"date":"2008-07-23T00:36:50","date_gmt":"2008-07-23T00:36:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2008\/07\/23\/bjp-hits-out-at-wangyuh\/"},"modified":"2008-07-23T00:36:50","modified_gmt":"2008-07-23T00:36:50","slug":"bjp-hits-out-at-wangyuh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2008\/07\/23\/bjp-hits-out-at-wangyuh\/","title":{"rendered":"BJP hits out at Wangyuh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>BJP Nagaland unit has lashed out at the State\u2019s lone Rajya Sabha MP Wangyuh Konyak of NPF for voting in favour of the UPA in the confidence vote contrary to the directive of the NPF president, and said the MP had no more moral right to represent the Naga people as he had opposed the mandate of the people for his \u201cselfish reasons.\u201d<br \/>Leader of State BJP parliamentary party and Forest minister MC Konyak in a press release also hit out at the Congress party and alleged that the political interference of the Congress and the party\u2019s policy of bribery and luring MPs to vote for the Congress had made Wangyuh a victim of the most negative means of horse trading and corruption in Indian politics.<br \/>The BJP alleged that members of the State Congress party led by Chingwang Konyak and PCC president had connived with and purchased Wangyuh to vote in favour of the trust vote. \u201cThe nexus between the NPF MP and the Congress can further be justified as the nefarious Congressman Bobby Panicker was found in Wangyuh\u2019s residence on 21st July.
