{"id":5729,"date":"2008-07-30T01:08:14","date_gmt":"2008-07-30T01:08:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2008\/07\/30\/nscn-i-m-bans-sumi-hoho-wsh\/"},"modified":"2008-07-30T01:08:14","modified_gmt":"2008-07-30T01:08:14","slug":"nscn-i-m-bans-sumi-hoho-wsh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2008\/07\/30\/nscn-i-m-bans-sumi-hoho-wsh\/","title":{"rendered":"NSCN (I-M) bans Sumi Hoho, WSH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>In a major development, a joint council meeting of the Steering Committee and Council of Kilonsers, NSCN (I-M), has banned the Sumi Hoho and Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) under the present leadership for alleged \u201cmisleading and dictating the Sumis in general to support the self-style unification group, which in reality merged with the Khaplang.\u201d <br \/>The joint council meeting charged both Sumi Hoho and WSH for misleading the \u201cinnocent national workers\u201d who defected from the NSCN (I-M) with arms, by blatantly misinterpreting the proclamation of the Yaruiwo (NSCN-IM chairman Isak Chishi Swu) on reconciliation based on national principle.<br \/>The MIP\/NSCN (I-M) in a press release stated that on November 27, 2007, the Sumi Hoho and WSH in a meeting held at Niuland, went to the extreme to support former NSCN (IM) kilo kilonser Azheto\u2019s initiated unification and to excommunicate all Sumi National Workers who did not toe the line of SH and WSH by supporting the unification. <br \/>The same stand was taken in subsequent meetings of the Sumis under the aegis of \u201cthese tainted organizations\u201d, and approved three times on December 11, 2007, January 15, 2008 and April 14 2008, the NSCN (I-M) said, while adding that on May 7, 2008, the unification group merged with the NSCN (K).<br \/>NSCN (I-M) also alleged that the present SH\/WSH leadership went a step further by passing a resolution that the Sumis would contribute only to one group of National Workers and that no contribution in any form would be extended to any faction that did not cooperate with Naga\u2019s unification.<br \/>\u201cChoosing to go for a head on confrontation with NSCN, the SH\/WSH leaders took the stand on the principle of \u2018unification first and then solutions\u2019, which is a total contrast to the NSCN\u2019s principle,\u201d NSCN (I-M) said.
