Earlier, he had announced creation of a separate Telangana state without taking the Andhra Pradesh Government into confidence. This time, he allowed Muivah to visit his village in Manipur without asking the state government for its view,\u201d BJP spokesperson Prakash Javadekar said here.<br \/>A four-member BJP delegation led by Javadekar also meet Chidambaram and demanded that territorial integrity of Manipur be protected.<br \/>\u201cWe told him that government must ensure and give a promise that territorial integrity (of Manipur) would be maintained,\u201d he told PTI.<br \/>Manipur is facing economic blockade by supporters of Muivah after he was unable to visit his ancestral village in the state due to objections by the state government.<br \/>Javadekar said the party demanded that National Highway no 39 and 53 be opened immediately and adequate supplies of essential commodities be ensured so that prices come down.<br \/>\u201cWe also discussed issues about threat to non-Manipuris,\u201d the BJP leader said, adding that the \u201cHome Minister has assured us that appropriate actions will be taken on our demands.\u201d<br \/>\u201cIf things don\u2019t move further, we may also meet the Prime Minister,\u201d Javadekar said.<br \/>The party demanded that permission to Muivah to visit Manipur be withdrawn to defuse the situation.<br \/>Javadekar said the Home Minister took the decision despite the fact that NSCN-IM wants four districts of that state to be part of the \u2018Greater Nagalim\u2019 demanded by it.<br \/>\u201cP Chidambaram is an expert in creating problem.He is an expert in converting peace into crisis,\u201d the BJP spokesperson said.<br \/>Meanwhile, ANI reported that around 1,000 women staged a sit-in protest in Imphal on Thursday against the visit of Muivah, to the state.<br \/>The protest was carried out by the Advanced Women Society at the Awang Sekmai Bazaar in Imphal.<br \/>After the sit-in protest, the women took out a rally in Sekmai area shouting slogans against Muivah\u2019s visit.<br \/> \u201cWe are opposing Muivah\u2019s attempt to enter Manipur with an intention to destroy Manipur. We are expressing our anger. We have decided to close down all our business establishments and have stopped our daily errands as well.
