{"id":59975,"date":"2010-01-16T01:13:27","date_gmt":"2010-01-16T01:13:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2010\/01\/16\/jwg-agrees-on-peace-line\/"},"modified":"2010-01-16T01:13:27","modified_gmt":"2010-01-16T01:13:27","slug":"jwg-agrees-on-peace-line","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2010\/01\/16\/jwg-agrees-on-peace-line\/","title":{"rendered":"JWG agrees on peace-line"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/BWYGKDVMTOWSKGGOZKLA.JPG>: Continuing with the Journey of Common Hope, the Joint Working Group (JWG) of the three Naga political groups, in order to effectively maintain and implement the common agreement and understanding in the true spirit of reconciliation, has agreed to establish and maintain a \u201cpeace-line\u201d for addressing any issues of concern directly.<br \/>\nThe JWG which met with the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) on Friday also re-affirmed to uphold their \u201cpledge to cease all forms of offensive activities in toto.\u201d<br \/>\nJWG convener \u201cGen (Retd)\u201d VS Atem of the NSCN (I-M), For conveners \u201cBrig.\u201d Tokugha Zhimo of the FGN and Alezo of the GPRN\/NSCN in a joint statement said the meeting was held to further strengthen the signing of the \u2018Covenant of Hope\u2019 adding \u201cWe want to set out and overrun the boundaries that we may infect life with hope.\u201d<br \/>\nTowards the commitment, the JWG noted that the use of non-Naga armed groups against fellow Nagas was detrimental to the reconciliation process and re-assured its resolve to refrain from any such intentions from all Naga areas and wherever Nagas were present.<br \/>\nThe JWG said it was committed not to let anything which served the common future be brought to defeat. \u201cWe want to find patience with one another, and give us the courage to practice daily the art of hoping in patience.
