FNR said since the Covenant of Naga Reconciliation was signed by the leaders of NNC\/FGN, GPRN\/NSCN and NSCN (I-M), the highest level meeting would not be complete without the presence and participation of all the three groups. \u201cTherefore for the sake of Naga Reconciliation and in the common interest of the Naga future, the Forum for Naga Reconciliation on behalf of the Naga people request the leaders of the three Naga Political groups to demonstrate their commitment and sincerity by attending the highest level reconciliation meeting,\u201d FNR said in its special appeal.
FNR said it was making the appeal as per the prayers of the Naga people and the warm solidarity received from across the world towards the reconciliation process.
Meanwhile, the United Naga Council, Manipur; Naga Women\u2019s Union, Manipur and All Naga Students\u2019 Association, Manipur have extended support and solidarity to the initiative of the FNR for the \u201chighest level talk of the Naga political groups.
A joint statement by three bodies said they expected all political groups to come forward for the sake of peace in the land and wished for a successful and fruitful meeting.
They also lauded the initiative of the FNR in signing of the \u201cCovenant of Reconciliation\u201d by three Naga political groups and also the formation of the Joint Working Group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
