The first audition kick-started here Tuesday at Hotel Saramati with a total of 22 aspiring \u201cidols\u201d belting out their own genre of songs, head to head with three judges for Dimapur chapter, which included Nise, Moanungsang and Zubeno.<br \/>\nOut of the 22 participants, 16 singers have been shortlisted to enter the combat zone.<br \/>\nThe subsequent auditions would take place at Kohima on September 17, 9 a.m. at Hotel Japf\u00fc Ashok and Mokokchung on September 19.<br \/>\nWinner of Naga Idol 3.08, apart from \u201cbecoming a part of history\u201d, will walk home with a car and a cash prize of rupees one lakh.<br \/>\nTuesday\u2019s audition at Dimapur was managed by Crescendo in association with MDACC.<br \/>\n(Staff Reporter)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After an overwhelming success of previous two Idol shows, Naga Idol, a popular \u201creality show\u201d which provides a platform for young budding singers, is back in its third season, ready to tap the best singing talent from across the state.
