\n\u201cIt will not be correct to say that state\u2019s law and order is bad just because of one or two civilians are killed,\u201d Khulu told NEPS here at his official chamber today.
\nIt may be mentioned that newly appointed NPCC president KV Pusa while addressing the press on Monday regretted on the prevailing law and order situation in the state. He accused the DAN government of escaping responsibility for lawlessness by clubbing violence and killings with factional clashes.
\nKhulu said the state\u2019s law and order was completely under control. He further pointed out that the state\u2019s law and order was far better comparing to the other states like Jammu and Kashmir and even neighboring states.
\nThe Commissioner also cleared doubts that some section of people had, on the role of the GBs and DBs in trying to bring peace and harmony among the various underground factions in the state.
\n\u201cI know our GBs and DBs have limited educations and intellectual inputs but the kind of social capital and the respect and honor they have is unparalleled,\u201d he explained.
\nOne should not misinterpret their role in the current peace and reconciliation process which they initiated. It was only to stop killings amongst the underground factions, he said. Once such killings and factional violence stops, it is the role of other NGOs and various agencies to sustain the tempo to certain level, he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
