{"id":61824,"date":"2011-01-23T00:08:34","date_gmt":"2011-01-23T00:08:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2011\/01\/23\/orientation-of-gurus-from-nezcc\/"},"modified":"2011-01-23T00:08:34","modified_gmt":"2011-01-23T00:08:34","slug":"orientation-of-gurus-from-nezcc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2011\/01\/23\/orientation-of-gurus-from-nezcc\/","title":{"rendered":"Orientation of \u2018Gurus\u2019 from NEZCC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Orientation programme for Gurus under Guru Shishya Parampara Scheme of North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC) was held at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) New Delhi from January 17 to 19.<br \/>Altogether eight Gurus and eight accompanists from NEZCC attended the programme, organized by IGNOU and NEZCC, central ministry of culture. <br \/>According to a press release issued by NEZCC director Som Kamei, IGNOU signed a memorandum of collaboration (MoC) with NEZCC for Certification Programme in Indigenous Art Practices (CIAP) under the ministry\u2019s Guru Shishya Parampara Scheme. The collaboration is an extension of the MoC which was first signed March 19, 2010. The Certificate Programme in Indigenous Art Practices of NEZCC is aimed at preserving, promoting and disseminating the rich traditions and folk cultural practices of the eight north eastern states of India. <br \/>The programme envisages a traditional master or Guru to impart traditional knowledge and expertise of the art form to the disciples or Shishyas.
