Imchen in press release said though India is a secular state where freedom of religion was guaranteed to all citizens, the constitutional provision had been violated by various states against the Christian Community across the country.<br \/>\n\u201cAs a secular country, religious tolerance and protection should be the prime concern of every state government. This is not the first time in the state of Orissa that the Christian communities are persecuted with orchestral design,\u201d the Home minister said.<br \/>\nImchen also said that unless such incidences were stopped or prevented, the consequent results would not be healthy for the whole country in future.<br \/>\n\u201cI convey my sincere concern and pray that the Christian community in Orissa will be able withstand this unpleasant situation with more determination and hope, as citizen of the country,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nagaland Government has expressed concern over the ugly situation in Orissa where Christian community has been persecuted and massacred.
