\nDirector of DUDA, Mikha Lomi, who was the chief guest at the valedictory function of the training programme held Monday at Pusa Craft Centre, congratulated the trainees for successful completion of the training programme.
\nUrging the trainees to change their mindset and be serious in their undertakings, DUDA director said \u201cwithout seriousness there is no success.\u201d He also requested the trainees not to think their task as small but to dedicate their skills and pass on their success stories to others.
\nQuoting the adage \u201cGod helps those who help themselves,\u201d Lomi said it was up to the framers to keep things moving and further hoped that when they go to their respective places, they would establish their own units and generate their own livelihood and live as torch bearers.
\nDeputy director, DUDA, Hichulo Rengma, proprietor of Pusa Craft Centre, Zholto Pusa, team leader, Y Chuba and CYO president also spoke on the occasion.
\nProject officer, DUDA, Thepf\u00fczakie Angami chaired the programme.
\nAltogether 16 trainees representing seven Indo-Myanmar border blocks – Tobu, Chen, Pomching, Noklak, Thonknyu, Pungro and Meluri – were awarded with three-month vocational training certificates.
\nThe trainees were also gifted with a set of carpentry tools each to set up their own units back home and bank accounts to facilitate business transaction.
\nThe training programme was organized in collaboration with Nagaland Craft Council Nagaland (CCN). The training mainly emphasized on wood and bamboo crafts under the guidance of Zholto Pusa the proprietor of Pusa Craft Centre and executive member of CCN.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
