The by-poll will witness a straight contest between Wapang Walling of the Congress party and Yanger Imchen.<br \/>\nThe four Congress MLAs of Dimapur district including KL Chishi, SI Jamir, Azheto Zhimomi and Hewoto Awomi are expected to show up on the polling day.<br \/>\nFrom the NPF side, Rajya Sabha MP Khekiho Zhimomi and Home minister Imkong L Imchen would be present, sources added.<br \/>\nPolice sources said security in the ward had been beefed up with police and IRB personnel ready to tackle any untoward incident.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, DC Dimapur Maongwati Aier has in an order stated that the alleged issuance of \u201cTo whom it may concern\u201d by chairman and GBs and also executive members of Ward 13, for the polling day was \u201cobjectionable\u201d as per Election Rules.<br \/>\nClarifying that the district administration had not issued any direction in this regard, the DC said the practice might disturb the smooth conduct of municipal by-election. \u201cHenceforth, it is ordered that no other paper\/documents other than the voter slip shall be issued by any chairman, GB or executive members,\u201d the order stated.<br \/>\nIt may be mentioned by-election to another ward of Tuensang Town Committee will also be held Friday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By-election to Ward-13 of Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) will be held Friday, amid apprehension of violence and booth rigging.
