The participants comprising mostly college students were also asked to give their contact details so they can take part as volunteers during mock drill and disaster management activities at different levels.

Jonny, state project officer, disaster risk reduction programme gave a brief introduction to disaster risk reduction (DRR) and urban risk reduction programme which is currently being implemented by the home department, government of Nagaland and sponsored by GOI-UNDP. The main resource person for the three-day programme, Janbemo, president, Green Foundation, Wokha, introduced the course in brief to the gathering.
