A service of thanksgiving to Peace Mission members and land donors of Chedema peace camp, the programme was organized by Peace Affairs, Nagaland Baptist Churches Council.<br \/>\nSpeaking on the Indo-Naga ceasefire, Rev. Beilie\u00fc Sh\u00fcya stated that ceasefire brings people together, and that the Naga nation should stand true to proclaim Nagaland for Christ.  She asserted that Nagas should give respect to its martyrs. She further said that one must perform peace actions, social work etc for the nation according to the will of God.<br \/>\nI. Temjenba Longkumer from the FGN appealed to all Nagas and organizations present at the programme to sincerely work for preserving peace in the land. He said that Nagas should not go against each other but work as one.<br \/>\nChairman of Chedema Village Council expressed hope that the Chedema peace camp would retain its value, where all Nagas would reap the fruits of the fore fathers.<br \/>\nEarlier, a monolith was unveiled by Rev. Yankey Patton. The monolith was erected to acknowledge the Naga peace mission members, land donors for Chedema Peace Camp and the people of Chedema.<br \/>\nA special prayer for peace was said by Razouvolie \u00dcsou, pastor, Chedema Baptist Church, and a word of appreciation by Rev. L. Kari Longchar, director of Peace Affairs, NBCC.
