\nMeanwhile, Secretary VDB Association under Akuluto area R.D has condemned the incident where Hekato of Lumithsami and Khekuto of Alaphumi Village assaulted and threatened the life of BDO Akuluto on September 2 without any ‘rhymes and reason’, while the officer was on the consultation for the official matter. The association president Tokheho Sumi and general secretary Khekato Chishi in a release has appealed to all right thinking people to come forward and condemn such an ‘irrational and uncivilized manner’. Further, the association also requested the authority to award befitting punishment to the culprit according to the law of land.
