{"id":6333,"date":"2008-09-10T01:46:30","date_gmt":"2008-09-10T01:46:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2008\/09\/10\/factions-meet-under-reconciliation-banner\/"},"modified":"2008-09-10T01:46:30","modified_gmt":"2008-09-10T01:46:30","slug":"factions-meet-under-reconciliation-banner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2008\/09\/10\/factions-meet-under-reconciliation-banner\/","title":{"rendered":"Factions meet under reconciliation banner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/state 7.JPG>As a follow up of the reconciliation process initiated by Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) between Naga underground groups, which began in Chiang Mai, Thailand, twenty one Naga national leaders from different groups met in Dimapur Tuesday to further build the process of reconciliation, as agreed in \u201cThe Covenant of Common Hope.\u201d<br \/>\nFNR in a press release said the Naga National leaders at the level of kilonsers and deputy kilonsers, in the presence of the FNR, deliberated with great concern and seriousness on the tasks to be accomplished.<br \/>\nTo pave the way for realization of \u2018The Covenant of Common Hope,\u2019 the Naga national parties and the FNR, along with the deepest desire of the Nagas, agreed to work out the details of \u201cturning swords into plowshares\u201d (ceasefire) at the earliest time frame, the release said.  \u201cTurning swords into plowshares symbolizes the total abandonment of guns into a new instrument namely, plowshares. It is a powerful metaphor of renewal, refurbishment, re-energizing, and rejuvenation.
