\nAccording to a release issued by the press desk, Youth Center Dimapur, the day commenced with the blessing of the Convention Cross. “This cross will be traveling to various parishes of the diocese to create reverence and devotion to the cross” the release said. Rev.Fr. James P., Provincial of the Don Bosco Dimapur Province, the main celebrant of the day exhorted the youth challenging them to take up the cross of life as Christ demanded of all his believers. Adding life to the reflection was the testimony of the five catholic youths from Orissa who were victims of communal violence there.
\nRev. Fr. C .P. Anto, the Director NCYM, along the executive members of Youth Organization extended the day’s greetings to all the youths of the diocese.
\nZumchilo Patton, secretary, Women Association, also exhorted the youths expressing the hope for greater and more chances towards building up themselves through exposure and training programmes. John Lotha, a Catechist of the parish wished all youths on behalf of all parents. He, in his turn, called upon the youths towards a life of commitment in faith and practice, ‘re-dedicate your lives for Christ, pump your lives with life of Christ, put on the amour of Christ and marching as you are you are the back bone of the church, family and society.
