Zhimomi and general secretary P. Chuba Ozukum, in a statement, said Hoho considered the action of Manipur government as an \u201copen declaration of war against the Nagas.\u201d<br \/>The Hoho affirmed that Nagas would stand as a people of one nation, regardless of any division on their land made through \u201ccolonial designs\u201d. It also stated that any attack on Naga people would be considered as an attack on \u201cthe nation.\u201d With regard to Naga citizens reportedly being held hostage in Imphal valley, the hoho cautioned that any harm inflicted to them would be countered by \u201cbefitting actions\u201d.<br \/>It also resolved to derecognize any artificial boundary lines, drawn across Naga people\u2019s ancestral lands in the present Manipur state.<br \/>Manipur declined escort <br \/>Manipur DGP had asked his Nagaland counterpart not to provide security escort to Imphal-bound trucks May 3 and as a consequence, six trucks were torched by miscreants that day. Revealing this Friday, state home minister Imkong L.Imchen said Manipur DGP had sent wireless message on May 1. State DGP K.Kire also said Nagaland provides security escorts to Manipur-bound trucks on Mondays,Wednesdays and Fridays. Meanwhile, vehicles transporting Nagaland newspapers to Manipur were stopped at Mao Gate by Manipur Police.
