In a representation to the University vice-chancellor, the KLCSU said further delay in declaration of results would impede the completion of course for another one year. Also, in another separate representation to VC, the NLSF suggested that result declaration should be timed in consonance with all India bar exam.
NLSF also demanded that the results be published in local dailies rather than pasting it on notice board of the university office. Pointing out that university\u2019s marks entry system in mark sheets was hand written, the law students said this gave an apprehension that marks could be easily manipulated\/forged. Further, asserting that many errors were detected in the past mark sheets, the student bodies urged the vice-chancellor to intervene and redress their grievances.
The NLSF, particularly, suggested the university authority to adopt proper marks entry method, either thorough computer or any such mechanical process so it can not be manipulated.
Meanwhile, highlighting that law colleges in Nagaland lacked proper library, the federation said it expected the university to evolve a proper mechanism where colleges must have excellent library facilities.
Urging the v-c to give utmost attention to their appeals, the NLSF said they would always strive and seek the rights of the students, as endowed upon by the law, if their pleas ignored.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
