{"id":70338,"date":"2010-06-06T00:04:14","date_gmt":"2010-06-06T00:04:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2010\/06\/06\/gprn-nscn-deplores\/"},"modified":"2010-06-06T00:04:14","modified_gmt":"2010-06-06T00:04:14","slug":"gprn-nscn-deplores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2010\/06\/06\/gprn-nscn-deplores\/","title":{"rendered":"GPRN\/NSCN deplores"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Lamenting that the   \u201cdeplorable politics\u201d was plaguing  the Covenant of Naga Reconciliation, symbolizing  reconciliation and peace among Nagas, as signed by   S.S.Khaplang, Isak Chishi Swu and \u2018Brig.\u2019 Singya, the GPRN\/NSCN said the Covenant also meant that Nagas and their neighbours  resolve outstanding issues with maturity and wisdom.  <br \/>The GPRN\/NSCN maintained that the \u2018Covenant did not anoint Th.Muivah to represent the Nagas and create social unrest in Manipur and Nagaland.\u201d <br \/>Referring to the current tensions, it said \u201c the seeds of misunderstanding sowed by adversaries between Nagas and their neighbours can neither be solved by one man\u2019s wishful thinking nor by the whims and fancies of Manipur Nagas or Manipur government.\u201d <br \/>According to the GPRN\/NSCN, Nagas of Manipur have suffered for over a month due to what it described as \u201cwrong politics\u201d and  the mobilizing of Nagas after the Mao gate incident painted as \u201chorrendous political miscalculation.\u201d Further, it said \u201csome miscreants are reportedly being paid to create trouble in Dimapur by targeting Manipur bound vehicles\u201d.  <br \/>The GPRN\/NSCN said it was wrong on the part of Nagas of Manipur state \u201c to solely believe in the wisdom of Th.Muivah and some civil society leaders from Nagaland\u201d on the issue of integration of Naga areas with Nagaland \u201calbeit, with a little help from the Government of India.\u201d The GPRN\/NSCN said it should be made clear , that \u201cno amount of pressurizing Manipur government, economic blockades or memorandums\u201d to the government of India\u201d would succeed. <br \/> Referring to the Autonomous District Council(ADC)elections in Naga areas of Manipur, the GPRN\/NSCN alleged that the \u201cunopposed winners are nephews and nieces of IM leaders\u201d.It said Nagas in Nagaland are not fools to know that the Tangkhul Naga Long in 2009 \u201cpleaded with the GoI to make Ukhrul the summer capital of Manipur\u201d. The MIP took a dig when it said \u201cthose enjoying the benefits of two states i.e.,Manipur and Nagaland under the guise of National workers, should not talk about the subject which is simply not theirs\u201d. It added that  \u201cbeneath the fa\u00e7ade of Hohos and Hahas\u201d, the general public know who is confusing them.
