{"id":70451,"date":"2010-06-15T00:42:33","date_gmt":"2010-06-15T00:42:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2010\/06\/15\/ensf-serves-ultimatum-to-govt\/"},"modified":"2010-06-15T00:42:33","modified_gmt":"2010-06-15T00:42:33","slug":"ensf-serves-ultimatum-to-govt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2010\/06\/15\/ensf-serves-ultimatum-to-govt\/","title":{"rendered":"ENSF serves ultimatum to govt."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Eastern Naga Students\u2019 Federation (ENSF) Monday served a four-day ultimatum \u2013 with June 17 as deadline \u2013 to the state government, demanding cancellation and rectification of the recent government job advertisement, which was widely published in local dailies.<br \/>The federation, in an ultimatum to state commissioner and secretary P&#038;AR, said it would be compelled to make a phase-wise agitation if their demand was not fulfilled within the stipulated time. It cautioned that government would be held responsible for any law and order situation that arises out of the issue.<br \/>According to ENSF, it had earlier served a Representation to the government to advertise \u201cclear and exact\u201d number of \u201cresultant vacancies\u201d and \u201cpromotion vacancies\u201d in all the departments arising out of Retirement Act 2009.<br \/>However, the P&#038;AR department \u201crandomly\u201d advertised the posts without checking the number of vacancies and authentication, it stated.<br \/>The federation, on the other hand, has questioned on why vacancies in only 36 departments were advertised when there was above 70 departments. It claimed that \u201cexact resultant vacancies\u201d in 36 departments were advertised without proper verification when there were lots of \u201cunadvertised vacancies\u201d in those departments.<br \/>Further, asking why applications were invited for respective districts when appointments were made without such directives in earlier occasions, the ENSF said, in such case, all appointments carried out in \u201ceastern Nagaland\u201d earlier should be cancelled and appoint only indigenous candidates against the vacancies created.<br \/>Besides this, the ENSF has demanded the government to form independent committee to conduct interviews for all the departments.
