All village units have been requested to submit the report and that failing which would invite stern action. <br \/>Dimapur 1 ACCCI suspends member<br \/>DIMAPUR: Dimapur 1 A\/C ACCC I has informed that Odinungsang of ward-3 has been suspended for allegedly involving in anti-party activities till further order. A press release issued by Dimapur 1 A\/C ACCC I caretaker, Hozka Awomi stated that anybody dealing with the suspended member regarding party matters would be treated as \u201cindiscipline\u201d towards the party.<br \/>CRDK fellowship programme<br \/>KOHIMA: Fellowship programme of Chiecha Ramia Dzevi Krotho (CRDK) Kohima will be held on June 27, 1 pm at Alder College (Assembly hall), Kohima. All CRDK members have been requested to attend the programme. <br \/>YAA general audit<br \/>KOHIMA: General audit of Yimchungrii Akhreii Arihako(YAA) will be held on June 30 at Shamator. All officials have been requested to reach the venue one day ahead. <br \/>KSU general meeting<br \/>KOHIMA: Kangching Students Union (KSU) Kohima has called for general meeting on June 26, 10 am at the residence of Chingba Phom, AG Colony.  <br \/>HASSU 2nd union assembly<br \/>DIMAPUR: Second union assembly of Highway Area Sumi Students\u2019 Union (HASSU) has been convened on June 26 at Western Sumi Hoho conference hall, Chekiye village at 10:30am. All GBs, village council chairman, community chairman, HASSU advisors, unit president and general secretary have been requested to attend the assembly. The union further expressed gratitude to Hovishe Achumi for sponsoring the assembly session. <br \/>ADCCO general meeting<br \/>DIMAPUR: All Dimapur Cement Craft Owners (ADCCO) has convened a general meeting on July 4 at Ao Ring Shop, 4th mile Dimapur at 12 noon. All responsible have been requested to attend the meeting.<br \/>WSBAK executive council meeting<br \/>DIMAPUR: Second executive council meeting of Western S\u00fcmi Baptist Akukuhou K\u00fcqhakulu (WSBAK) has been convened on June 26 at Mission Center, Akuvuto Thahekhu, at 9am. All the responsible representative members have been requested to attend the meeting.<br \/>JSU meeting<br \/>KOHIMA: A general body meeting of the Jakhama Students\u2019 Union has been convened on July 3,10 am at Village Panchayat Hall. <br \/>DPDB Zunheboto meeting<br \/>DIMAPUR: District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for Zunheboto has been convened on July 13 at DC conference hall, Zunheboto at 11am. All the members have been requested to attend the meeting.<br \/>ND&#038;DGDU meeting<br \/>KOHIMA: A general meeting of Nagaland Directorate and District Government Drivers\u2019 Union (ND&#038;DGDU) will be held on June 26, 10 am at CANSSEA conference hall. All members have been asked to attend the meeting, while all district units have been asked to send representatives without fail. <br \/>TSUD buffet<br \/>DIMAPUR: Tenyimi Student\u2019s Union Dimapur (TSUD) would be organizing a buffet on June 25 from 5.30 pm onwards at Tenyimi Union complex, near DDSC stadium. The buffet would include special dishes from all the Tenyimi tribes and also entrainment. <br \/>FNG terminates cadre <br \/>DIMAPUR: Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) has terminated one Pte. Alingbo (27) Naga Army, son of  Dinkham of  Samziuram village from the Naga Army active service. According to the termination order issued by Maj. Timothy, commander, 3rd Bn. 1st Bde, W\/C, Naga Army, Pte. Alingbo who joined Naga Army on November 4, 2009 was terminated with effect from June 21 on ground of his \u201canti-national activities\u201d.<br \/>KSU meeting venue changed<br \/>Dimapur: The proposed Kyong Students Union Platinum Jubilee coordination meeting which was earlier sheduled be held at LTC hall Wokha has been changed to Hornbill Hotel. The date and time will remain unchanged. Asang Ngullie Convenor KSU Platinum Jubilee has requested all KSU office bearers, jubilee committee members and federating units are requested to attend the meeting.<br \/>PSUK new team<br \/>DIMAPUR: Phom Students\u2019 Union Kohima (PSUK) has elected a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2010-12 with E. Thiba Phom as president, Pongngoi as general secretary etc. <br \/>KLH general meeting held<br \/>DIMAPUR: Kohima Longsa Hoho (KLH) conducted its general meeting on June 19 at the residence of Dr. T.M. Lotha, chairman PAC and co-convenor DAN, Old Minister\u2019s Hill. During the meeting, the chairman and his colleagues requested to appoint Solumo Ezung as joint secretary and A, Shumdemo Ezung as finance secretary of KLH which had been lying vacant. The house also deliberately discussed the agendas and unanimous decisions were made concern to the functioning of Hoho.<br \/>Meeting on June 4 abduction case<br \/>DIMAPUR: Joint council of Yangzitong A&#038; B village have convened an emergency meeting on June 25, 3 pm at the residence of its banker Yezutu-B Kughuko Kuqhakulu Dimapur at Diphupar-B, Dimapur. <br \/>According to head GB Yangzitong A and B village, Ihoto Sangtam the meeting would deliberate on the issue of abduction of Ameto Awomi, son of Vikheyi Awomi, Yezutu-B village under Kiphire district who was abducted on June 4 from Kohima. All constituent units viz. Yezutu village Kughuko Kuqhakulu, Kohima, Dimapur, Kiphire, Zunheboto, Tuengsang and Yezutu Village Students\u2019 Union executives have been informed to attend the meeting.  <br \/>ULIP seminar at Rotary Club<br \/>DIMAPUR: Marketing officers and filed forces of Life Insurance Corporation of India, Dimapur conducted a seminar of June 23 at Rotary Club, Dimapur. The meeting was conducted in order to discuss and keep the field forces aware of the chang that was to be implemented in Unit Link Products (ULIP) with effect from July 1, 2010, in accordance with the guidelines of IRDA. The meeting was presided over by branch manager of Dimapur, N. A Jamir who spoke about the likely changes in ULIP with regard to increase in lock-in period to 5 years from 3 years, no option for full surrender, mandatory pension provision and life risk cover\/health cover to be made compulsory. Others who spoke included assistant branch manager, A. Borkotoki, and Dev. Officers, SP Dutta and D. Nandi respectively. <br \/>Longleng piggery farmers\u2019 appeal <br \/>DIMAPUR: Piggery Farmers Union (PRU) of Longleng district while thanking state government and department of veterinary for supplying piglets and CGI sheet for running piggeries in Longleng has asked whether piglets were vaccinated or not. <br \/>According to PRU, the government had assured beneficiaries that feeds and other life saving medicines would be supplied but so far piggery farmers were yet to receive the items. The union further appealed to the government to provide the items at the earliest and impart proper training to the piggery farmers. <br \/>Kohima district \u2018Local Hero Concert\u2019<br \/>DIMAPUR: Life Pro Events would be presenting Naga Idol 5.10 Kohima district \u2018Local Hero Concert\u2019 on June 26, at 5:00pm at Academy Hall, Kohima.<br \/>All together 13 contestants, 12 from Kohima and 1 from Phek would be performing in the concert, out of which the selected \u2018Local Hero\u2019 will be qualified directly for the next voting round. <br \/>Selection procedure would be 50% from the judge\u2019s assessment and 50% from voting. Voting card would be available along with the concert tickets. Voting opens June 26 from 10 am to 6:30 pm. <br \/>DSSU demands removal of DNSU dy speaker<br \/>DIMAPUR: Dimapur Sumi Students\u2019 Union (DSSU) has demanded expulsion of deputy speaker of Dimapur Naga Students\u2019 Union (DNSU) for allegedly assaulting DNSU assembly speaker. According to DSSU, the incident took place on June 20 during DNSU 7th executive council meeting where deputy speaker allegedly assaulted the speaker in an inebriated condition. Condemning the act of the deputy speaker, DSSU stated that it was a clear violation of DNSU constitution and beyond tolerance. Union further reasoned that expulsion of the deputy speaker was initiated to maintain unity among the DNSU units and in the interest of all constituent units.<br \/>Dimapur 3 A\/C              RJD dissolved<br \/>DIMAPUR: Dimapur 3 A\/C Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) party office bearers and members have resolved to dissolve the party en-block under the constituency at a meeting held on June 19. Informing this in a joint press release, former candidate, L. Inazhe Sema and RJD Dimapur 3 A\/C former president, S.C. Hetoi stated that the meeting was attended by 71 village level office bearers from 6 units of the constituency and the house further resolved to join Congress (I) under the leadership of CLP leader, Tokheho Yepthomi and NPCC president, I.
