Stating that NPCC instead of \u201chealing the victim\u201d and cooperating with the government, added more salt to the wound in attacking the home minister, refracting a \u201c strange phenomenon\u201d that besieged the Congress.
Saying no responsible political party should \u201cgamble over such incident\u201d, NPF termed the assassination bid as a heinous crime which was condemnable by one and maintaining that its \u201ceyes are wide open to bring the culprit to book\u201d
NPF said it was disappointing to note that the NPCC continued to \u201cflirt\u201d over an incident and crossing all democratic norms and probity.
Saying it had no intention to silence critics but was amused by the \u201cconstant and unfounded scanning of the home minister\u201d by the NPCC which it said appear to \u201cbe suffering from Imchen\u2019s phobia\u201d.
NPF asserted that the government cannot be taken to task for \u201csuch an isolated incident\u201dand subtract concerted efforts of various law enforcement agencies.
NPF said no political line should be drawn over the unfortunate incident so as to \u201cmaintain decency and uphold the value and dignity of human life.\u201d
Further, NPF concluded that the utterances of the Congress was but a \u201cdesign to cover up their internal party wrangling\u201d and termed the NPCC statement on the May 27 incident as an \u201culterior motive to sully the image of the DAN govt. and dissect the ambit of the home minister.\u201d
NPF also said NPCC\u2019s \u201cmudslinging\u201d was a reflection of the latter\u2019s \u201cdiminishing run\u201d after its recent defeat at the Aonglenden by election.
Hitting back, NPF said it was neither within its purview of responsibility to bury the NPCC\u2019s past mistakes as people in the state \u201cknow that the NPCC is doomed to self destruction\u201d without any pressure from its political opponent.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
