According to PRO Dimapur police, the accused identified as one \u201ccapt\u201d Mhabemo Jami, son of Thechamo Jami of Yamhon village, Wokha was intercepted while he was travelling in a Maruti van (AS 01-D-0150).  IR personnel also seized one 7.65 mm pistol along with six live rounds of ammunition. After being produced before east police station, a case was registered under appropriate section, PRO said. Meanwhile, police also seized 1500 kg contraband ganja from one abandoned vehicle (NL01A\/7143) at Nihokhu village June 12. Acting on a tip-off that particular vehicle was moving towards Dimapur with the contraband, Diphupar police station personnel were activated and had rushed to the spot at Nihokhu village, however, the vehicle (mini truck) was found abandoned loaded with the illegal consignment.
