\nPosh has abandoned her famous Pob in favour of a daring pixie crop, reminiscent of Hollywood star Halle Berry\u2019s 2002 Bond Girl look. She managed to upstage even Jennifer Lopez, who sat beside her in front row seats at the show.
\nIt was an eventful day for the mother of three – earlier she launched her first fashion collection based entirely upon her own personal style to a handful of fashion\u2019s elite editors. She revealed even husband David had not seen all the finished pieces, although he regularly texted throughout the showcase for progress reports.
\nThe novice fashion designer described her collection of ten dresses as \u201cclassy\u201d. Each fashionable frock is typically Posh – super figure-hugging, though all feature a modest below-the-knee hemline.
\nShe called the debut of her own range of dresses a \u2018dream of a lifetime\u2019. She added: \u2018I know I have a lot to learn, but over the years I think I have worked out how women want to look.\u2019
\n\u2018I\u2019ve been working on this for 34 years. I always wanted to be a fashion designer. \u2018Then along came the Spice Girls which opened a lot of doors for me. And, let\u2019s be honest, closed a lot. \u2018But those days are over. I was never going to be the world\u2019s best singer, but I hope I can be a good designer.\u2019
\nHer enthusiasm isn\u2019t exactly shared by her husband. She says: \u2018I think sometimes David thinks I\u2019m a bit nuts. I get very excited about rivets and buttons and fabric that he doesn\u2019t really understand.\u2019 \u2018But he supports me and I think that\u2019s important in a relationship.\u2019 Available in sizes six to 14, she described the dresses as \u2018suitable for all ages\u2019 and singled out curvy celebrities Nigella Lawson and Dame Helen Mirren as ideal customers.
