Announces winners of Young Photographers&#8221; Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>The results of the first ever HELLO! Young Photographers&#8217; Award have been decided. Taking the top spot in the competition, which was launched to celebrate the magazine&#8217;s 20th anniversary, was Jonathan Hyams, who impressed judges with his picture of two African children.<br \/>\nThe picture &#8211; which netted Jonathan a \u00a35,000 prize, top-of-the-range camera equipment and a commission with HELLO &#8211; can be seen along with other category-winning images in a special round-up of the award on the website and in this week&#8217;s magazine.<br \/>\nA panel of top photographers, including Rod Stewart&#8217;s wife Penny Lancaster Stewart, sifted through more than 1,000 entries which flooded in from all over the UK.<br \/>\n&#8220;It was both encouraging and inspiring to see such a high standard of photographic talent,&#8221; said Penny. &#8220;It&#8217;s wonderful the magazine recognises young talent in this way.&#8221;<br \/>\nTo check out the winning images and discover the stories behind them click on the Young Photographers&#8217; Award winners button on the website or pick up the new edition of HELLO, issue 1039, on sale from September 16.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The results of the first ever HELLO!
