\n A release issued by the MIP said \u201cthe issue of reconciliation and unity for the national cause was placed before him(S.C.Jamir) with a positive frame of mind, because this is the desire of all the Nagas\u201d.
\nTracing the genesis of the strained relations with Jamir, the MIP stated that \u201cever since the NSCN took the rein of the Naga political struggle, the course of the movement was never the same and so are the critics that are bitterly opposed to the political ideology of the NSCN\u201d. It said Jamir had stood as \u201cthe most outspoken Naga leader who defies all political morality to challenge the NSCN authority\u201d and accused him of having collaborated with \u201canti-Naga forces using all inconceivable means at his disposal to crush the NSCN but without success.\u201d
\nThe MIP said Jamir was told at the New Delhi meeting that \u201c it is better to live in reality than dreams\u201d. The release said it was made pointedly clear to Jamir about the \u201cstanding policy of the NSCN that the national issue be placed above everything else and no individual interest should come above that.\u201d
\n\u201c It is time for anyone to come back from the wrong avoiding hypocrisy of sort. This is the only way to understand each other among the Nagas and get the problem solved\u201d , it added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
