He also informed that master plan for solar energy was prepared for Kohima city as well as Dimapur. <br \/>Former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi birth anniversary was also marked with painting and essay competition by the schools located in Kohima Town. <br \/>The essay competition was conducted on the topic of \u2018onwards a Cleaner, Healthier and Eco-friendly Environment through New and Renewable Energy\u2019. Painting competition in junior level was won by Limatoshi of Northfield School, Inatola of Mezh\u00fcr Hr.Sec. School bagged second prize and Visino of Don Bosco Hr Sec. School was awarded the third prize. Panting competition in senior level was won by Lhouviny\u00fc of Govt. Hr. Sec. School, second by Racheal Yepthomi of  Mezh\u00fcr Hr.Sec. School and third by Loposhe of Mezh\u00fcr Hr.Sec. School.           <br \/>In easy competition (junior level), the winner goes to Mezh\u00fckhrienuo of Northfield School, second prize, Thejaleno of Northfield School and third prize by Catherine                                              Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School. Essay competition (senior level) was won by Rovovinuo of Dainty Bud, second by Haresh of  Ministers Hill Hr. Sec. School and third by Laxmi Chetri of  St. Mary Cathedral Hr. Secondary school. <br \/>Short speech was also delivered by Er. T.S. Angami and Prof. Glen Thomas, Nagaland University. Prizes were given away by the chief guest Deo Nukhu. Eleven schools participated in painting and essay competitions. Joint Director (Hydro), Directorate of NRE, Er. V.Rochill proposed the vote of thanks. Commission and Secretary IPR and NRE, Nagaland, M. K.
