The unions questioned as to why the chain did not work when it was pulled, and the ticket collector, who was in the AC compartment, did not respond when the victim\u2019s cousin knocked and kicked the door several times.  Stating that negligence on the part of railway authority was not the first time, PSC president Manlang Phom and President, OSU Eliakum Phom, in a press release, said they would fight till justice delivered. \u201cHad there been timely intervention, the victim could have been saved who died due to massive bleeding,\u201d they said.
