The training was held on August 31 at ADC conference hall Pfutsuro. Kikashilu joint director in his key note address elucidated that the project was highly technical and research oriented. The main object was to treat drainage line, degraded agriculture &#038; forest land.  It was estimated that the erosion from severe to very severe from hills during monsoon was transported to lower valley thereby causing flood, the project aimed to treat the land, rivers, streams, gullies etc at vulnerable areas to minimize the run-off. This is the 5th project the department would be undertaking. Temjen Longkumer deputy director stressed on land management on agriculture &#038; forest land. T. Mar Longkumer, Soil Chemist dwelt on drainage line treatment.
