\nVice president (Admn.), NPCC, Zachilhu Vadeo in a press release said if the BJP was serious about their secular credentials, then they should come out openly against their saffron brigades and immediately ban such organizations.
\nNPCC also said it was high for the Naga people to realize that the BJP was using \u201cdifferent facets and double tongue\u201d for its political survival, as \u201ctheir leaders while visiting the North East Region comes out with \u2018soft corners for the Christians\u2019 but they propagate \u2018Hindutva\u2019 and instigate communal violence while visiting other Hindu dominant States.\u201d
\nOn BJP Nagaland in-charge Siddarth Nath Singh\u2019s allegations that the Congress party was responsible for \u201cencouraging\u201d influx of illegal migrants in the country, NPCC said that influx of Bangladeshis had been a \u201ccontinuous process\u201d and a problem faced by successive governments at the Centre.
\nNPCC also claimed that the Congress-led UPA Government was trying its level best to fight terrorism and also do away with communal violence in the Country. It also reminded people were well aware that inflation or price rise was a global phenomenon, which cannot be avoided.
\nFurther, NPCC said it was during the Congress regime that several rounds of peace talks were held and finally the Government of India signed cease fire agreements with the NSCN (I-M)and NSCN (K). \u201cThe Congress Party is committed for an early solution of the Indo-Naga problem and fully supports the ongoing peace talks between the Government of India and various Naga underground groups,\u201d NPCC added.
\nOn the other hand, NPCC questioned the role played by BJP as a political party during the NDA Government at the Centre and also being coalition partners in the ruling DAN Government in Nagaland.
\nNPCC said that instead of questioning the Congress Party on the growth and development of the State, the BJP should seriously account the rampant corruptions being carried out by the DAN Government, in which BJP is a partner for the last more than five years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
