Commemorating the establishment of C Khel Kuda village a monolith was unveiled Saturday by Rev. Miazielie Sakhrie, pastor Kuda Village Baptist Church (KVBC).\nThe erstwhile Nagarjan now Kuda Village probably one among the oldest village in Dimapur was established in the year 1941 by Rev. Pehielie Sekhose, former headmaster of Clark Memorial Mission School, Impur who was also the first president of Kohima Village Panchayat now Kohima Village Council.
\nToday, “Kuda village has a proud tradition of impartial justice and maintaining law and order which creats a congenial atmosphere for progress\u2026 unity and a strong feeling of peaceful co-existence,” a souvenir released on the occasion stated.
\nReverend Miazielie Sakhrie who was the chief guest on the occasion blessed the gathering with ‘priestly blessing’
\nEarlier, at the programme a brief history of the village and elderly blessing was pronounced by Pf\u00fcrovi Khate, pastor Toulazouma Baptist Church, songs was presented by C Khel Kuda Village women, speeches by Zakielietuo Kire, general secretary Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland, a report was read by Zakiesielie Yhor, secretary C Khel Kuda Village, vote of thanks was proposed by Abou Sote while Sato Khate, deacon KVBC offered invocation and benediction was pronounced by Mano Peseyie.
\nThe programme was chaired by Noune Khate, chairman C Khel Kuda Village.
