James Kikon, SMS, soil science explained the farmers on proper functioning and duties of SHGs and farmers\u2019 club. He also stressed on the preparation of compost from the mushroom beds after its harvest. <br \/>Saurabh Sarma, programme assistant, plant protection emphasized on the benefit of mushroom to human health as well as its importance to build up farmers\u2019 economy. <br \/>He also spoke on the hygienic production technology of mushroom. <br \/>Budhin Kachari, assistant, mushroom lab, ICAR Jharnapani demonstrated the steps and methods involved in hygienic production of mushroom which was followed by interaction with the farmers. <br \/>Mushroom spawn was distributed to all the three groups attending the training.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One day training programme on \u201cMushroom cultivation and its management\u201d was conducted by KVK Dimapur on January 6 at community hall of Seithekema \u2018A\u2019 village.
