In a statement, NSF also suggested that ENPO take up grievances \u2013 if was related to development and job opportunities \u2013 with legislators from Mon, Tuensang, Longleng and Kiphire districts as the people of those four districts elected them to address their grievances.
Impressing upon the ENPO \u201cnot to push any farther for demand of Statehood or any other separate arrangements,\u201d the NSF said it would be detrimental for the growth of Naga society in the long run and also provide \u201cadvantage to our adversaries. NSF also cautioned \u201cindividual and agencies trying to implant seeds of discord and hatred amongst the Naga family to desist from such nefarious design.\u201d
Demands backdoor appointments nullified
Naga Students\u2019 Federation (NSF) Wednesday claimed that \u201cbackdoor appointment\u201d was taking place in Nagaland cooperative societies against retirement Act 2009 despite its repeated appeal to departments against such practices.
NSF statement released by its vice president Sinhilo Thong pointed out that a total of 22 backdoor appointments were brought to the knowledge of federation office. The alleged backdoor appointments include 13 posts of junior inspector, seven pots of lower divisional assistant and two posts of computer assistant.
The federation, while urging upon the responsible department for immediate cancellation of those appointments, said failure to comply with its genuine demand within 15 days, it should not be misconstrued for any action initiated against that responsible department.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
