Out of the 9,938 males who appeared,&nbsp; 6,241 (62.80%) were qualified while out of 10,085 females who appeared, 5884 (58.34%) were qualified.<br \/>\nYimkum I Ozukum of&nbsp; St.Mary\u2019s&nbsp; Hr.Sec.School, Padampukhuri&nbsp; secured highest aggregate marks with 569 (94.83%)&nbsp; Satish Kumar Agarwal&nbsp; of&nbsp; S.D.Jain Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur&nbsp; with 567 marks (94.50%) was next. Harsh Kumar Jha of Ministers\u2019 Hill Baptist H.S.S, Kohima was in third place with 563&nbsp;&nbsp; marks (93.83% ) (see supplement) <br \/>\nIn the HSSLC examination&nbsp; out of the 10,491 candidates appeared&nbsp; 7,502 (71.51%) passed. <br \/>\nIn HSSLC(Arts) out of 7478 candidates, 5108(68.31%)passed; in Commerce, out of 1093 who appeared 797(72.92%)passed; in science out of 1920 appeared out of which 1597(83.18%)passed. <br \/>\nIn the HSSLC (Arts), Bendangrenla&nbsp; S&nbsp; Longkumer of&nbsp; Patkai Hr.Sec.School, Chumukedima with 498&nbsp; marks (83.00%) secured highest aggregate marks;&nbsp; in Commerce stream, Chonbeni Oren Patton of Christian Hr.Sec.School, Dimapur&nbsp; secured the highest marks&nbsp; with 507 (84.50%).&nbsp; In the Science stream Rohit&nbsp; Pathak of Pranab Vidyapith HSS, Dimapur&nbsp; aggregated 531 marks for the highest position (88.50%)<br \/>\n(SEE SPECIAL SUPPLEMENT)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>60.56% pass HSLC; 68.31% (HSSLC-Arts),72.92% (Com), 83.18% (Sc) A total of&nbsp; 20,023 candidates&nbsp; appeared for the HSLC examination 2011 conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), of which 12,125 (60.56 %) were declared qualified.
