Election was scheduled to be held on April 26 but postponed by the district administration. As per the directive from the DC\u2019s office, the DCCI was scheduled to hold the election on Saturday. DCCI sources said the meeting was called by the ADC late Friday night to discuss issues relating to the DCCI. However, the meeting was postponed after the ADC, at the directive from the \u2018Home Department\u2019, called off the formation of DCCI. Convener drafting committee, Kasheto said all members were not informed about the meeting except few. He asked the ADC to why prior information was not issued.  He also said majority of the members present were in favour of election.
