According to a statement from NSCN (I-M) Ao region, Wapangtemjen and his group were nabbed by its members while they were allegedly moving around threatening public by firing bullets. \u201cHowever, his other friends managed to escape,\u201d it said. On being interrogated, the NSCN (I-M) Ao region said Wapangtemjen had confessed that he and his group were deputed from Kehoi camp to get involved and support Dr. S.C.
