{"id":76591,"date":"2011-05-23T00:04:54","date_gmt":"2011-05-23T00:04:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2011\/05\/23\/two-held-for-extortion-2\/"},"modified":"2011-05-23T00:04:54","modified_gmt":"2011-05-23T00:04:54","slug":"two-held-for-extortion-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2011\/05\/23\/two-held-for-extortion-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Two held for extortion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>DEF personnel of Mokokchung Police arrested two extortionists on Saturday evening at around 7:30pm at Settsu gate. <br \/>The duo was arrested after they reportedly extorted a sum of `5000 from a truck that was coming to Mokokchung from Longtho at around 3:30am on Saturday morning at Yimyu. <br \/>The arrested has been identified as Anato 25years son of Visheto of Litami village and Avika son of late Kaito of Lumitsami village both under Zunheboto district. <br \/>According to investigation officer, PS II Mokokchung, Anato brought his friend to Mokokchung promising him to bear expenses including fooding and lodging. <br \/>It was also reported that Anato managed to stop the truck and demanded money from the driver claiming to be an underground cadre, while his friend Avika was at a workshop early Saturday morning to repair their bike. <br \/>I\/O informed the whole incident happened without the knowledge of Avika and that the arrested were mere farmers and not  linked with any of the underground factions. <br \/>The arrested duo is in police custody and further investigations are on.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DEF personnel of Mokokchung Police arrested two extortionists on Saturday evening at around 7:30pm at Settsu gate.
