The expansion of the NPF beyond the border of Nagaland was \u201cnot an encroachment in our neighbors\u2019 territory\u201d but a matter of only introducing the policy and programmes of the NPF, it said. Further the Bureau said the NPF is a registered and duly recognized regional political party with the Election Commission of India and S.I. Jamir\u2019s utterances blaming NPF for creating enmity were \u201cmisinterpretation of fact and distortion of political reality\u201d.
It said any Indian citizen could be a member of the NPF and that the party can be established anywhere in the country. It affirmed that the NPF endeavour was to fulfill aspirations of Nagas to live as one family which no force could divide or stop. It also said NPF has not diluted the Naga political issue and the desire to live as one being its fundamental agenda and therefore, pursuit for political integration \u201cshall be relentless\u201d.
In the light of the \u201cdamning statement\u201d such as S.I. Jamir\u2019s recent remarks, the NPF concluded that \u201cNPCC is anti-Naga\u201d. Further, NPF said its \u201clegitimate apprehension\u201d of alleged \u201ccynical politicking of NPCC\u201d has reached a critical state while the irony was that the NPCC leadership was bent on blurring the future of the people. Stating that it now understood the \u201cthin limitation of S.I. Jamir\u201d, NPF said his aim on the Naga political issue was to drag it back to square one \u201clike his predecessor.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
