{"id":79675,"date":"2011-10-21T01:23:51","date_gmt":"2011-10-21T01:23:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2011\/10\/21\/ebrc-athibung-dismisses-cj-report\/"},"modified":"2011-10-21T01:23:51","modified_gmt":"2011-10-21T01:23:51","slug":"ebrc-athibung-dismisses-cj-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2011\/10\/21\/ebrc-athibung-dismisses-cj-report\/","title":{"rendered":"EBRC Athibung dismisses CJ report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Educational Block Resource Centre (EBRC) Athibung, Peren Thursday dismissed the news report \u201cGovt. schools deprived of basic facilities\u201d, published in this daily October 19, saying the report showed the responsible authority in \u201cpoor light\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>A statement issued by EBRC coordination Chungminthang Singson said both EBRC Athibung and district mission authority (DMA) have taken strong exception to the report, wherein a 2009-2010 photo of recently established GPS Old Soget was depicted by the citizen journalist (CJ) without ascertaining facts.<\/p>\n<p>According to Singson, government primary school Old Soget was established in 2009-2010 and that funds for full construction of school building was sanctioned during 2010-2011 under SSA. <\/p>\n<p>Prior to that period, the EBRC Athibung clarified the community constructed a temporary house (photo depicted by CJ) to meet the immediate requirements, adding that at present construction of school building was nearly complete.<\/p>\n<p>EBRC Athibung said GPS Old Soget has been provided with all the facilities such as mid day meals, free text books, technical learning materials (TLMs) and all other amenities entitled to GPSs.<\/p>\n<p>It stated that the school has two government appointed and two community sponsored teachers with 40 students from class A to IV.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEver since, basic requirements like benches, desks, tables, chairs, blackboards are adjusted from schools grants and maintenance grants,\u201d Singson said, adding the VEC and villagers were the best to judge.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the EBRC urged the CJ to update his photos before going to the press with outdated one, saying \u201csuch false information hurts the sentiments of the teachers and demoralize the concern authority despite of giving their best against all odds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It also demanded the CJ to tender apology in tarnishing the image of the EBRC Athibung, DMA Peren and the department, adding it was \u201cever-ready\u201d to make necessary arrangements and accompany the CJ for spot verification.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\n<font>For More Updates, follow us on &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/home.php?sk=group_122822574405511\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: medium none;\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cms.nagalandpost.com\/newsimages\/PhotosCollection\/BKDWMJOIYQWKXUNDBKXF.png\" alt=\"Facebook\" style=\"border: medium none;\" \/><\/a>&nbsp;&nbsp;and &nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/?q=nagaland+post#%21\/nagalandpost90\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: medium none;\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/cms.nagalandpost.com\/newsimages\/PhotosCollection\/TWASKRLZSYMZWPFZERZS.png\" alt=\"Twitter\" style=\"border: medium none;\" \/><\/a><\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Educational Block Resource Centre (EBRC) Athibung, Peren Thursday dismissed the news report \u201cGovt. schools deprived of basic facilities\u201d, published in this daily October 19, saying the report showed the responsible authority in \u201cpoor light\u201d.
