The notice has been issued with regard to the defamation suit filed by veteran actor Manoj Kumar against the makers of the film \u2018Om Shanti Om.\u2019<br \/>\nManoj Kumar had objected to a character in the movie who bore a resemblance to him and was shown being beaten up by guards when he went to attend a movie premiere. Kumar had said the portrayal had caused immense damage to his status and lowered his image among fans. The actor demanded a rupee as compensation money from the filmmakers, and said the objectionable scenes should be erased from  CDs and DVDs.<br \/>\nLast month, the Andheri metropolitan magistrate issued summons to the three, asking them to be present in the court on Tuesday.
