{"id":82479,"date":"2011-11-27T00:47:28","date_gmt":"2011-11-27T00:47:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2011\/11\/27\/2-extortionists-held-in-dimapur\/"},"modified":"2011-11-27T00:47:28","modified_gmt":"2011-11-27T00:47:28","slug":"2-extortionists-held-in-dimapur","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2011\/11\/27\/2-extortionists-held-in-dimapur\/","title":{"rendered":"2 extortionists held in Dimapur"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Dimapur police Saturday arrested two NSCN (K) cadres from Church road while they were attempting to collect \u201cextortion money\u201d from shops.&nbsp; According to a press release by Additional SP Dimapur, one .32 pistol with two live ammunitions in magazine and a booklet of tax receipts of GPRN\/NSCN were recovered from their possession along with one mobile handset and cash amounting to Rs.570. <\/p>\n<p>The accused have been identified as \u2018ss lieut\u2019 of NSCN (K), Bokato Ayemi (28) s\/o James Ayemi, Ahoto village, Niuland and Joseph Awomi (26) s\/o Khutovi Awomi,&nbsp; Ngopzopo village, Zunheboto, said the press release. On interrogation, the duo stated that they have served \u201cextortion demand notes\u201d earlier to some business establishments in Dimapur and had come to collect the money from these shops, according to the police. <\/p>\n<p>The press release also said that a case was registered in this connection and investigation had been initiated to identify the business establishments to whom the \u201cdemand notes\u201d were served.
