The union in a press release issued by its general secretary, Dz\u00fcvisato Savino, expressed regret over such incident. The union further urged the authority to book the culprits and award befitting punishment and wished a speedy recovery to the victim.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">CANSSEA, Wokha unit:<\/span> CANSSEA, Wokha unit has condemned the assault on DC Wokha, Rovilatuo Mor, who is also a patron and member of its unit. The president of the association, N. Ekonthung Kikon, stated that such attitude would only bring societal discord and embarrassment to the people. The association further hoped that such incident would not happen again and wished a speedy recovery to the victim.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">WAPO DC:<\/span> Western Angami Public Organization condemned the incident that took place at DC Wokha office recently whereby DC was physically assaulted by a mob. WAPO expressed its resentment for the inhuman act meted out to a sincere officer who was discharging his official duties diligently. WAPO in a press release issued by its president Vikehielie Victor also questioned as to why the district security remained silent for two hours when prior information on the incident was being given.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">WDVCU:<\/span> Wokha District Village Chairman Union (WDVCU) has condemned the April 21 incident at DC\u2019s office Wokha which resulted in the injury of deputy commissioner, Wokha by unruly mob. The union in a release appealed to all village council, VDB members and public to desist from such activities. WDVCU also appealed to all village authorities under Wokha district to settle any dispute of election matter or any problem within the village as far as possible.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">SKKK:<\/span> Semomia Kewhira Kebako Krotho (SKKK) has condemned the physical assault on DC, Wokha Rovilatuo Mor and mob vandalism on April 21, at DC\u2019s conference hall, Wokha with regard to Longsa VDB election dispute. Demanding immediate and befitting punishment on the culprits at the earliest, SKKK president in a release stated that such acts of barbarism has no place in the civilized Naga society.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">VDB member, Longsa Village:<\/span> E. Zuthungbemo Ezung VDB Member, Longsa Village Wokha has condemned the April 21 at DC office Wokha. E. Zuthungbemo Ezung in a release while condemning the act has questioned the security personnel who were on duty for remaining \u201cmute\u201d at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">KGOU<\/span>: Khonoma Gazetted Officer\u2019s Union (KGOU) has condemned the personal abuse and physical injury of deputy commissioner Wokha and expressed pained at the \u201cprimitive behavior\u201d of those responsible for the incident. KGOU president Dr. Puse Liegise and Secretary Ler\u00fc\u00fcno Sophi while stating that such unwarranted incidents cannot be condoned under any circumstances also appealed to the authorities and all concerned to investigate the case and impose appropriate action on the guilty.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">LPK: <\/span>Lerie Panchayat Kohima (LPK) has condemned the assault on DC Wokha, Rovilatuo Mor, on April 22 arising out of the VDB secretary election issue of Longsa village. Condemning the act of the perpetrators, the panchayat in a press release issued by its secretary, Ims\u00fcnok Jamir, stated that Rovilatuo was a permanent resident of Lerie colony and the incident in which he was injured was tantamount to inflicting injury to the rest of the residents of Lerie colony.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;\">AGOK: <\/span>Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho (AGOK) has condemned incident which resulted in the injury of its member Rovilatuo Mor, deputy commissioner Wokha on April 21 while discharging his official duty over the unresolved issue of VDB secretary election in Longsa village, Wokha district. AGOK in a release asked the state government to set up an inquiry committee to find out the cause leading to the injury of the DC and initiate an appropriate action so that in future, no such ugly scene occur in a civilized society. AGOK further stated \u201cGrievances on official matters are redressed through official means and not through violence or use of force or personal attacks which is too barbaric\u201d.
