Wangtin Naga also informed that other \u201cimportant issues\u201d would be deliberated during the next round of meeting. He said both Centre and NSCN (R) would be holding consultations in this regard.<br \/>\nWhen asked about allocation of designated camp, Wangtin said the issue was discussed, however, it would be finalised only after discussion with Cease-Fire Monitoring Group (CFMG) chairman Lt. Gen (retd.) N. K. Singh. <br \/>\nThe salient feature of the cease fire with NSCN (R) and also NSCN (Khole-Kitovi) is the removal of the sentence \u201cas per the law of the land\u201d from the cease fire ground rules.<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Gov, CM appeal to NSCN (K) <\/span><br \/>\nKohima Correspondent Adds: Nagaland Governor, P.B. Acharya said he join hands with the State chief minister, T.R. Zeliang, and the Government of Nagaland in appealing to the NSCN (K) to continue the cease-fire with the Government of India for the early solution and for peaceful environment in the state. <br \/>\nGovernor said this while speaking to the media persons on the sidelines of the swearing in ceremony at Raj Bhavan on Monday. <br \/>\nThe Governor expressed his desire that there should be renewal or new agreement with regard to the cease-fire so that peace and normalcy prevails in Nagaland. <br \/>\nAdds Vision Communication: Taking note of the recent attacks on security forces in Nagaland and Arunachal by NSCN (K), Joint Secretary (NE) Shambhu Singh warned asserted \u201cif the Khaplang faction tries to disturb the law and order, they will be dealt with sternly according to the law of the land.\u201d<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #ff0000;\">GPRN\/NSCN-GoI extend CF; revises CFGR<\/span><br \/>\nGovernment of India and GPRN\/NSCN (Khole-Kitovi) on Monday extended the cease-fire agreement for another year, with effect from April 28, 2015 as the existing agreement between the two parties expired on April 27, 2015.<br \/>\nThe signing of the cease-fire agreement was held in New Delhi with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) joint secretary (NE) Shambu Singh and other officials representing the Government of India and cease-fire supervisor board (CFSB) supervisor Jack Jimomi and Bohoto Kiba of the GPRN\/NSCN.<br \/>\nWhen contacted, Jack Jimomi termed the meeting \u201cquite successful\u201d. <br \/>\nGPRN\/NSCN kilonser Akato Chophi who was also in Delhi informed that during the meeting the parties reviewed and revised the cease-fire ground rules (CFGR). <br \/>\nHe said GPRN\/NSCN had also expressed the need for additional camps.<br \/>\nWhen asked whether they were ready to hold dialogue with Government of India, Akato responded in positive and said that GPRN\/NSCN representatives have opined that \u201cboth the parties should not just keep extending the cease-fire year after year. There is a need to start the dialogue between the two entities for a logical conclusion.\u201d<br \/>\nIn the cease-fire agreement, a copy which was available with Nagaland Post, the two parties extended the cease-fire for a year \u201cto bring about a lasting peace in the State of Nagaland with the involvement of the Naga people\u201d.<br \/>\nIt states that the cease-fire will be subjected to adherence of the CFGR as revised on April 27,&nbsp; 2015 and mutually agreed and signed by the two sides.<br \/>\nIt further stated that CFGR will be subjected to mutual review amendment with the involvement of both the parties.<br \/>\nThose present at the meeting include, Government of India representatives&#8211;&nbsp; special secretary Home Ashok Prasad, joint secretary (NE) MHA, Shambu Singh, CFMG chairman Lt. Gen (retd.) N.K. Singh, IGAR (N) Maj. Gen. AK Jaiswal, DDGMO (East) Brig. Sameet and DDGMI (East) Brig. N.D.
