Some suggested that it be defused and handed over to the WW-II museum while others recommended burying the bomb wrapped with salt for speedy rusting and subsequent defusing. <\/p>\n<p>However, Army BDS rejected the suggestions and insisted on carrying out the controlled detonation, it was learnt.<br \/>\nHowever, police sources expressed fear that the proposed controlled detonation of such a huge bomb could not only cause damages to the surrounding standing structures but could also send a mild tremor in the surrounding areas of the state capital.<\/p>\n<p>SP Kohima, R Tetseo, when contacted confirmed the report.
